Using this semi-transparent product, especially this one, has been an excellent experience, and I’m very happy to endorse it. Unfortunately, I’ve heard that Benjamin Moore has discontinued this product, which is very disappointing. Hopefully, Benjamin Moore will reintroduce it. I’ve tried the replacement, but unfortunately, it’s not even close.

Disappointed

Over the past few years I have purchased the Arborcoat Teak Transparent stain for my deck. When I had a new fence put up last year my local Benjamin Moore dealer told me that I should use The Arbocoat Deck And Siding Semi-transparent oil stain as this is what replaced the Transparent stain. I purchased 6 gallons of the stain but when I applied it this year onto my fence
it has a orange tone to it. I finished painting my neighbors fence that faces into my yard last month and used the semi transparent as his fence is not pressure treated and again it looks more orange that Teak. Please advise. Thank you, Ann Marie Wade
