I live in the Caribbean and depend on using the very best paints and coatings to maintain my house in our severe high-UV and salty seaside environment. The super high quality varnish on which I have depended for 20+ years is no longer available in Curacao. After a lot of searching I found that you carry Lenmar Spar varnish, and were willing to ship it.
I was completely astonished to get a real person on the phone at your store. I explained to Marc that the shipment would be going UPS to Miami, then crosstown to an ocean freight company, then via a five day boat trip to Curacao, then through much more handling by customs and taxation before reaching my freight company on the island, where I would pick it up. Marc immediately said that he understood, would pack the three gallons of very expensive varnish extra carefully, and did not require the additional boxing and packing payment that I offered. This was extraordinary. That shipment arrived in Miami in great condition and I saw a photo of Marc's boxing and labeling from that Miami freight forwarder. It was incredibly well done. Service like that I received from Marc is almost unheard of in these modern times!
I couldn’t get a quart of varnish locally without “special order” provisions and a gallon would be wasteful. Saved money and eliminated waste. It only cost me two days time, but it came to my door. Easy peasy.
